May's Kit and Layouts

Running behind with my blog updates. For May the kit I got from Twin Mom Scraps was Camo Princess. Since purple and green are my favorite colors, this was a fun kit for me to work with.

Longaberger Homestead

I made another layout using Simply Vintage by Twin Mom Scraps. The kit preview is in the previous post. It is another layout of our trip to the Longaberger Company and Homestead back in 2004. Here is page two:

Twin Mom Scraps

Well, so far, I am off to a slow start with my blog. I guess April has just been a busy month so far. I do have some news though. I am now a member of Twin Mom Scraps creative team. Each month the team members will get a different kit to work with. The kit I was working with this month is Simply Vintage.

You can find the kit in her store at Cool Scraps or Enchanted Studio Scraps. She was also hosting a challenge at Cool Scraps that had a matching add-on freebie. The challenge is over, but it looks like the add-on is still available.

Here is a layout I created with this kit. I really like the keys and vines. The pictures are of a pretty little church we ran across a couple of years ago while we were in Baden.

This layout was supposed to be my second one using the kit, but I just realized that two of the papers I used were actually from the challenge freebie. Guess I need to go do another layout.

First Post

Well, I have been digiscraping for about a year and a half. I must be getting better at it, because I just got an invitation to join a digital scrapbook designers creative team. I am thinking about giving it a try. One of her requirements is that I have a blog. So, I decided to go ahead and create one. I am not real sure what I am going to talk about, but I am sure I will come up with something.
